Eric is an Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) designer with over 15 years of experience designing, planning, installing and testing electrical and instrumentation systems in facilities in the Houston and surrounding areas. His area of expertise and focus includes: Motor Control Center (MCC) design, Distributed Power Systems, Tank Farm systems, Truck and Rail loading systems, and Marine Vapor Control Systems. Eric has been responsible for multiple systems and is adept at overseeing projects through all their progress phases including: planning, design, installation assistance, startup, troubleshooting, and training.
In his over 12 years in the field, he has designed multi-car rail loading and unloading systems and assisted with electrical contractors in installations and troubleshooting. Eric has knowledge of many different types of PLC and DCS systems and many different types of instrumentation. He has experience with design and installation of EPA/Coast Guard Certified Marine Vapor Control Systems and has assisted with Coast Guard certification of the same. He has knowledge of Tank systems and has done complete I&E Design of large tank farms, including Tank Gauging, Pump Systems, Motor Control Centers, and Process design.
