Kazi is a lead electrical engineer with over 18 years of experience, leading various engineering firms and other organizations in the petrochemical industries in several areas including: designing, coordinating, managing and ensuring the front-end engineering design (FEED) to its eventual commission. During design development, Kazy has acted as a consultant with the other disciplines, solving problems, communicating ideas and extending support from the electrical engineering perspective. Furthermore, Kazy has experience in Designing and providing revisions to ensure that the engineering policies, code and standards, design directives, scopes of work and criteria are being followed as intended. Kazy also participates in the development of construction plans and specifications interpretation in the event questions arise, as well as discussing technical requirements of design or other engineering related problems in meetings and conferences.
In his former roles as an electrical engineer, he has accumulated extensive experience working with multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams across the globe, engineered at gas processing industries, conducted engineering design FEED to commission, low and medium voltage power distribution, utilities, power plants, system studies, protective device coordination, oil and gas including ammonia, urea, water and waste water treatment plants, mining industry, commercial buildings, rail, and highway illumination projects. Managed projects from inception to completion, supervised and oversaw maintenance activities, prepared design basis, estimate, bill of materials, project management, planning and budgeting. Additionally, Kazy has also done extensive evaluations, validations and reviews, as well as recommending bids, vendor documents and shop drawings.
Kazi holds a Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering with Professional Engineering licenses from Ontario, Canada and Texas.
