Josh graduated from the University of Toledo with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering. E&TS hired him straight out of college and he now has over 8 years of hands-on experience as a Process Engineer working in the terminal industry. Josh now holds P.E. licenses in Texas, Michigan, and Ohio and is a certified API 653 Inspector.
Josh's project experience has encompassed various roles including Design Engineer: secondary containment, pump and pipe sizing (hydraulic analysis), equipment and instrumentation specification, heat exchangers, blending systems, high/low pressure propane and butane storage and refrigeration, and API 650/12F tanks. Engineering Evaluation: spent/fresh sulfuric acid truck/rail un/loading systems, SO2 caustic scrubber performance, and emergency relief device sizing and specification. Procurement: material specifications I(pipes, valves, fittings, equipment, instrumentation, loading platforms, and arms. Construction and Project Management: bid package development, bid walks, proposal evaluations, scheduling, project execution and field management service on projects including customer turnover tie-in modification projects, HDD pipelines, truck gathering facilities, etc. These projects were located in the U.S including Ohio, Louisiana, and Texas as well as Puerto Rico and Mexico.
