Shuja is a field engineer with over 8 years of experience concentrating on the midstream above-ground Oil and Gas storage tanks, Pump manifold, Docks & LACT units foundations, and Pipe inspection. He is very proficient in his ability to assist and communicate with the contractor in order to achieve a successful field communication. Shuja has worked as a field engineer for Trafigura Projects (Corpus Christi, Texas), leading the construction and civil work for above-ground storage tanks, butane system and upgrading the existing firefighting system at TDR and EF90 projects. He was also the field engineer for ITC Pasadena phase II project until its completion and for ITC Pasadena Project 3A.
Shuja managed the Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing Laboratories and performed Geotechnical Engineering Studies and other engineering duties all while working for Burge-Martinez, Inc. (BMC). In the laboratory, he performed various laboratories testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and masonry. Before joining BMC, he supervised the soils laboratory for another geotechnical firm for 6 years.
Shuja holds a Master of Science degree in Food Science from Almeda University, Boise, Idaho, a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Huston-Tillotson University, Austin, Texas, and Associate degree in Chemical Technology from Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, Louisiana. He is also Certified Master Inspector and Environmentalist for Residential/Commercial Building Inspections - Mold IAQ, American Association of Building Inspectors & Environmentalists, has a Certificate of Training in Concrete, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), and has an E.I.T from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Shuja is fluent in English and Urdu.
